Nexus 4, 5, 7, 10 ... Soon what Nexus 8? - Engadget

Nexus 8 leak

When the Nexus One was launched in January 2010 was hard to think that the family ‘Nexus’ finally end up growing as much as it has done in recent years. It has become one of the cornerstones of Android, offering excellent features at very attractive prices. And to top it off with current models, it appears that Google will soon offer ‘something’ else. A new Nexus 8 is the device that many are looking for, and although it has been confused with a review of the current Nexus 10 seems that finally it is a separate model.

As the name suggests would bring a 8 inch screen , standing between the new Nexus 7 and the veteran Nexus 10. With a slightly different design to the first and, above all, for their finer edges, Nexus 8 would become direct competition Retina iPad Mini to offer virtually the same diagonal, and possibly also a resolution to height: the little Apple has 2,048 × 1,536 pixels.

have above image comes directly from Google, and it shows a device that matches a filtered image a few weeks ago. So far has not revealed any technical detail, and the question of whether Google will incorporate Qualcomm chips NVidia or stands. It does seem that the manufacturer for the Nexus 8 is ASUS , as the ’7 ‘and detract from Samsung which currently manufactures the larger model.

No release date yet announced, following the recent launch of Google Nexus May surely miss some time before announcing a new device. A few weeks may be sufficient, thus late November before it should make it official … except surprise. Keep you informed.
