The Nexus 5 would support nanosim card - Android Help

It’s no secret that the Nexus 5 will be released soon to the market. In fact, little remains to be seen apart from some minor details. One, for example, was the SIM card. And, it seems, the Nexus 5 work with NanoSIN card like the iPhone 5s. Moreover, Android 4.4 could lead to all manufacturers on the same line.

All data come from the operator Life. This itself indicates that the corresponding provide nanosim card to anyone with an iPhone or iPhone 5s 5c. But not only speaks of the two terminals of Apple, but also mentions the smartphone from Google, the new Nexus 5. Most likely, this Ukrainian operator has information about the smartphone of the Mountain View that allows them to make this statement. Even so, we can not take it for granted, it would not be strange that it were a sentence added to draw attention.

Android 4.4

KitKat could go for nanosim

Strangest of all is that the operator not only speaks of these three smartphones, but generally speaking all those handsets with Android 4.4 KitKat. It is strange to make this statement has little to do as the operating system of a terminal with the SIM card type you use. It is possible, though, that Google try to put pressure on manufacturers for all those new smartphones to be launched with Android 4.4 KitKat have this type of card. The interest could have Google on this does not seem very clear, except get this type was standardized SIM card. Anyway, Google has bet before the cards for nanosim, in the release of the Motorola Droid and Motorola Moto X, when this company was already part of Google’s subsidiaries. These had already been nanosim smartphones. On the other hand, not so with the LG G2, which carries a MicroSIM. We’ll see what happens in two weeks, when it officially announced the new smartphone from the Mountain View.
