The South Korean manufacturer Samsung has unveiled its third tablet Galaxy Tab range, low-end devices with which he intends to face the Nexus 7 Google and Apple iPad Mini.
device is 9.9 mm thick, with 7-inch WSVGA screen with a resolution of 169 ppi, below the 216 ppi of the Nexus 7. But it also has a dual core processor at 1.2 GHz, with 8GB or 16GB of storage memory, expandable up to 64GB via microSD card and 1GB of RAM.
As for connectivity, it has WiFi and 3G support, and has a 3-megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front. It houses the operating system Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. WiFi version hit the U.S. market in May, although it supports WiFi and 3G will have to wait until June. Also, the price for now is a mystery, but some experts suggest that being a low-end terminal, will have to be priced well below the $ 399.99 the last Galaxy Note 8.0.
