The new Google Nexus, the Nexus and Nexus 6P 5X devices are equipped with RGB LED notification light. The small light is a convenient way to remind or alert you to pending notifications.

However, you must enable small light flickering before you can start using this function.

activation only takes a few steps:

  • Initializes the app of Settings (Settings)
  • Add a touch to Sound & amp;.. notification (Sound and notifications)
  • Slide the switch located next to Click Notification light to the ON position (on).

When are enabled, the new notifications will flash the light. Unfortunately, there seems have any kind of native tool integrated into Android 6.0 Marshmallow that allows you to customize alerts.

On the other hand, fortunately, you can use apps like Light Flow to do just that. I’ve installed both the free version as pay and have succeeded to customize the frequency of the flashes of light and colors.

5X, the light below the screen on the speaker grill. In the 6P you are located in the upper left corner next to the front camera lens.
