Imprint Nexus is the fingerprint sensor located on the back of the latest smartphones Google, the Nexus and Nexus 5X 6P.

If you skipped setting fingerprint the first time you turned on your device, or are looking to add another fingerprint to your Nexus, you can do so at any time.

The register a fingerprint with Nexus Imprint takes only a few seconds. Once you’ve completed this process, you can unlock your phone with your fingerprint or pay for items in the Google Play Store without having to enter a password.

Then I show you the steps to configure and add more Nexus fingerprints Imprint:

  • Initializes the Settings app (Settings ).
  • Add a touch of Security (Safety).
  • Select Nexus Imprint.
  • Add a touch of fingerprint Add (Add footprint).

If you are adding your first fingerprint, you will be prompted to make a backup or a PIN if the sensor can not read your fingerprint.

You’ll have to position your finger on the sensor, then posarlo lift and again on the sensor a few times during the registration process. Be sure to slightly adjust the position of the finger to the sensor can record the most of your footprint.

Once you finish this, you can add another track or close the settings. And so the next time you unlock your phone, just resting your finger on the sensor.
