There are several applications that allow us to control how we walk, and so find an approximation of the distance we have traveled throughout the day. Many people are interested in knowing more or less, if they are making a minimum of movement, to say “I exercise, today I walked X km”.

This is an application designed exclusively for that device, and obviously will not be compatible with others, because it makes use of impact sensor that incorporates the latest Google device.
sensor is always active, even though we’re not using any application, so no need for an extra resource to make the data count. Similarly, to record only the steps, no matter where we move, no need for anything GPS , unlike many others, help further the battery.
The application is really simple, and only shows a total step count / km a day, and a small weekly chart. Options allow us to set a daily goal (10,000 steps by default), and enter our stride distance to the total estimate. If we want, we can check with our Google account to access a global ranking and personal achievements, and we encourage you to leave a bit more walking.
If you are thinking of installing an application of this type, have a Nexus 5, but ye are not sure about the issue of battery consumption, Pedometer is your app.
