It is a reprint of Nexus Q, if not the new Zotac ZBOX Sphere – Engadget

The ball is beautiful, or at least save some power of seduction. When Google introduced the Nexus Q fell in love many forms, but its simple design … elegant. Almost completely disappeared from the market, and is more than likely that Zotac was fixed on it to create Zotac ZBOX Sphere .

A desktop small format and ball design , identical with that as we knew in the Nexus Q blue line. Obviously a very different, slightly more powerful device, based on a Intel Core i5-4200U (2C/4T 1.6-2.6 GHz, 15W TDP) with integrated graphics (Intel HD Graphics 4400 200-1000 MHz) and, as usual in this product family ZBOX leaving open some features to be the user who decides the final specifications. We refer, of course, to the RAM (two SO-DIMM sockets DDR3L, up to 16 GB in total) or storage, which has a SATA connector and one mSATA, both bandwidth 6Gbps that cry a traditional hard drive and a SSD to have such a powerful and interesting duo. However, for those who do not want to complicate the Zotac ZBOX Sphere Plus includes 4 GB DDR3 and 500GB hard drive starting.

As you can see by the images, the front is clean and all connections are on the rear , flat for ease of use. Al video (HDMI and DisplayPort) is added the Gigabit Ethernet, USB (3×2.0 and 4×3.0), card reader and audio connections. Even the power button is in this area, together with the dissipation slots always necessary. A over all this, in point of connectivity, we 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 .

The two available models inaugurate a new family of products, ZBOX ‘O’ Series , which for now only part ZBOX Sphere OI520 and Sphere OI520 ZBOX Plus! . Their prices have not yet been revealed , but we have already contacted Zotac to resolve the doubt
