Besides having announced the new Nexus 7 and Chromecast, Google also confirmed the release of Android 4.3. After many rumors and assumptions, the company has updated its operating system performance optimizations and new features for users and developers. It will be released with the second tablet manufactured by Asus for the search engine company.
The new Android 4.3 is based on the performance improvements already on Jelly Bean and adds new Android optimizations that make it even faster. For now, the first devices to upgrade to the new version will be the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (version 2012), Nexus 10 and Galaxy Nexus.
Increased graphics performance: have optimized the drawing commands flow, reorganizing and merging operations, and in addition, the processor also can now use multithreading across multiple CPU cores to perform certain tasks . Includes Khronos platform support for OpenGL ES 3.0, with games and other applications with high performance capabilities 2D and 3D graphics on supported devices. Improved representation of shapes and text: The shapes such as circles and rounded rectangles are now displayed with a higher quality more efficiently.Bluetooth Ready: Android 4.3 includes integrated support for Bluetooth Smart Ready platform in the central role and provides a standard set of APIs that applications can use to detect nearby devices, see GATT services, and read / write characteristics.
Mulitusuario for tablets : the new operating system extends the multi-feature for tablets with restricted profiles, a new way to manage users and their capabilities in a single device .
Exploration WiFi: WiFi scanning mode is modified so that Android 4.3 allows users to keep the WiFi on without connecting to a WiFi network, to improve the accuracy of the location.
Flow notifications: The notifications have long been one of the most popular Android features that allow users to view information and updates of the entire system, all in one place. Now Android 4.3, applications can observe the flow of notifications with user permission and display notifications in any way you want, including shipping to nearby devices connected through Bluetooth.
