yesterday Google enabled preorder your new gamepad. The peripheral was developed by Asus, and is compatible with the brand new Nexus Player via Bluetooth, and Play Games Android store. The price of the accessory is $ 39 (US).

With this launch, Google starts flirting with the world of video games. While game consoles are already taking advantage of the Android ecosystem, Google still had not fully embraced the segment. His attempts did not exceed the market of casual games for mobile or tablet. Now with this gamepad, similar in form and purpose to the Xbox or the PlayStation, it appears that Google is moving on in the gaming segment

The Player connects to Nexus form directly to the TV.

The Nexus Player is equipped with an Intel Atom chip quad core 1.8GHz and video chip PowerVR Series 6 and 1 GB of RAM console; Android TV runs a version of Android for use on larger screens. So, connected to a smart TV allows streaming movies, videos and music in general, and also access to the library of games available for Android, something similar to what proposes the Amazon Fire TV.

Unfortunately, the gamepad is not available for the Argentine market, at least for now. .
